This May Day,
people of faith
show up together

Our faith traditions and spiritual practices ground us in a long lineage of ancestors who have taken action for our collective liberation. This May 1st, we will come together again to honor immigrant workers at a time when our immigrant community is being targeted.

We will not be divided by those who profit from fear and separation. We reject the lie that our neighbors are threats, choosing instead to stand together in courage and solidarity. Together, we can shape an Oregon where every person is nourished, cared for, and rooted in a thriving, connected community.

Join us:

If you are clergy:

  • Join Together Lab’s Clergy Caucus at May Day in Salem to march together as a unified community. We will gather at 10am at a near the Capitol for a time to strengthen relationships, analysis, and strategies to meet the moment before joining the rally and march at noon.

If you are a person of faith:

  • Attend a May Day event and organize your faith community or neighbors to attend together

  • Pledge to make May Day a day of Fasting and Prayer, whether you can make a march or not.

  • Light a candle at noon on May Day in solidarity with immigrant workers
